Check for and clear a nozzle blockage

Step-by-step instructions

1. 1. Confirm restriction location

   Check whether filament feed is restricted at the nozzle rather than spool, PTFE guide or extruder.

2. 2. Unload if possible

   Use the normal unload process where filament can still move.

3. 3. Use supplied unclogging approach

   Use the A1 unclogging pin only according to manufacturer maintenance guidance and without forcing it.

4. 4. Test extrusion

   Reload known-good filament and verify steady centred extrusion.

5. 5. Replace hotend if unresolved

   If the blockage cannot be safely cleared, replace the compatible A1-series hotend/nozzle.
